Muhurta.now Usage Guide

Muhurta.now is a web application that helps you find the perfect muhurta (auspicious time) based on your location. This guide will help you understand how to use the app and its various settings.

For now, it shows the trikala sandya muhurta.

Getting Started

1. Visit muhurta.now in your web browser
2. The app will automatically detect your location or use a default city
3. You can install the app on your device for a better experience using the "Install" button in Settings

Main Features

Location Settings

• The app shows your current city and country at the top of the page
• You can change your location in two ways:
  1. Select from a predefined list of cities
  2. Use your device's location (requires geolocation permission)

Muhurta Information

The app displays various muhurtas and their timings:

• Trikala Sandya Muhurta
• Sunrise and Sunset times

Nadika Time

The app shows the current Nadika (and Vinadi) time, which is a traditional time measurement system.

Settings

Location Settings

1. Go to the Settings page
2. Choose your preferred method to set location:
   • Select from the dropdown list of cities
   • Use your device's location (requires permission)

Appearance Settings

1. Theme Selection:

   • Choose between Light and Dark themes
   • The theme will persist across sessions

2. View Past Muhurtas:

   • Toggle this setting to show or hide past muhurta calculations
   • When enabled, you can see past muhurta timings for today
   • When disabled, only current and future muhurtas are shown

Installation

The app can be installed on your device for a better experience:

1. Go to the Settings page
2. Click the "Install" button
3. Follow your browser's prompts to install the app
